The recommended rough opening for a 24×36 window is 24½ × 36½ inches, providing standard ¼-inch clearance per side for shimming, leveling, and flashing during installation.

Casement 24×36 Window

A compact single-lite outward-opening casement in 24×36 provides full-opening ventilation in a small format. Suited to bathrooms and kitchen utility areas where maximum airflow is required from a compact opening. Multi-point locking hardware standard.

Fixed / Picture 24×36 Window

A fixed light in 24×36 for basement windows, bathroom privacy openings, and hallway applications where ventilation is not required but natural light is the primary objective.

Awning 24×36 Window

A top-hinged awning in 24×36 opens outward at the bottom for ventilation even during light rain. Commonly specified for bathrooms and utility areas at or above grade level.
